KAROUBA - NEW RECIPE

Karouba is a spread made from hazelnuts and caroub, a leguminous plant from the Mediterranean basin which replaces cocoa.

It is sweetened whith raw cane sugar, a sugar with a strong taste that is not acidifying.

  Use on toast or pastry or dilute to make a chocolate sauce, especially delicious on cooked fruits like pears.
