Sesame is one of the first oily plants that man has ever cultivated.
After a light toasting, the seeds are passed in a grinder and then put in jars. This method doesn't alter their content of unsaturated fatty acids.
Sesame puree is 50% white sesame and 50% whole sesame and not 100% whole sesame, which would be too difficult to digest.
We husk the whole sesame, without chemical additives, by a unique and original process.
Directions: Sesame butter is mainly used in diluted water. You can spread it as it is, or with a little honey.
Recipe idea: Hummus
Soak 300g chickpeas overnight and cook them with a piece of kombu seaweed for 1 hour.
Mix together the chickpeas, two tablespoon of sesame puree, the pulp of 4 garlic cloves, salt, the juice of 2 lemons. Add water to obtain a smooth result.
